A is for Artichoke

Artichoke
Really hard work for not a lot of vegetable
Terry made it - it was great
Interesting shape
Coupled with mayonnaise? Really? Butter was way better.
How come I never ate this as a child?
Ohhhhh, you don't actually eat the leaves? Ok that makes it way easier.
K - I can't think of anything that has to do with an artichoke that starts with a K. Sorry folks.
Exciting to try something new!

  1. Where is Terry from? I had an East coast roommate who ate them with mayo.

I was going to make a snide remark about "B" being or baby, but I am sure you get enough of that. I would just be trying to be annoying.

  2. I'm proud of Terry for cooking an artichoke for you. Next time you are here we can take you to Castroville, artichoke capitol of the world, and show you the Giant Artichoke statue! See, you haven't quite done every fabulous thing there is to do here.
